On Friday the jury returned a verdict of not guilty on all charges for Kyle Rittenhouse. This is a wonderful result and marks the end of the first part of a nightmare that for Rittenhouse, will likely go on for some time. Unfortunately, this event also marks a continuing nightmare for America that will also go on for some time. One that is likely to get much worse before it gets better. READ THE FULL BLOG HERE!
New York Rifle and Pistol Association vs New York lawsuit Update!
“Attached is the transcript from the New York Rifle and Pistol Association vs New York lawsuit. The case was heard Tuesday in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. Believe it or not, San Diego County Gun Owners PAC played a small part in the discussion.
Starting at page 34, Justice Breyer gets into a discussion about the possibility of increased violence if people are allowed to have CCW permits. Attorney Paul Clement, arguing for the New York State Rifle & Pistol association points out that the statistics don’t reflect that in shall issue states there is an increase in violence. There is a reference to Chicago, which is a shall issue jurisdiction. Justice Kagan then jumps in and tries to tie Chicago gun violence (from illegal guns) to shall issue CCW permits. Clement artfully responds that no other jurisdiction with a shall issues CCW policy results in increased violence and he cites San Diego.
San Diego County Gun Owners essentially turned San Diego into a “shall issue” jurisdiction, although no jurisdiction in California can truly be considered “shall issue” until we get rid of the “proof of good cause” requirement. There has been no increase in violence from CCW permit holders since the policy change. San Diego, thanks to San Diego County Gun Owners, serves as the poster child for why shall issue should be the statewide and country wide policy.
Take the time to read the arguments if you haven’t already and get involved. Focusing on all that is wrong is easy. Being the one of the ones to restore and protect our Second Amendment rights is hard, but we are doing it every day. In San Diego County, Orange County, and in the Inland Empire.
Together, We Will Win.

#NotMeIE
The #NotMeRC program is a mentor/mentee referral service run by women for women to help them:
Obtain firearms training
Get assistance in choosing and purchasing a firearm
Obtain a CCW
How does the program work?
A potential client can fill out the application for service on our website. Once received, the project manager reviews the application and assigns the client to an Ambassador. An Ambassador then contacts the client to begin the process of walking them through whatever their firearm needs are. After the client has been successfully helped, their case is closed and the Ambassador is given a new client to work with. Most of our Ambassadors are also NRA certified trainers. They are very knowledgeable in all aspects of firearms training and purchasing. RCGO also offers an online CCW seminar once a month. Check the RCGO website for upcoming dates.
