Pastor Brian Hawkins’ success story is an example of the many effective, actionable results our organization has accomplished in the short time we’ve been around. Pastor Brian in his desire to serve his community and passion to help preserve our Constitution including our beloved 2nd Amendment, decided to run for a City Council position with no prior public office experience. Knowing he is a strong 2nd Amendment advocate, RCGO officially endorsed him and shared his campaign with our followers and members. We were extremely excited and proud to hear he successfully won a seat on the San Jacinto City Council! Listen to his journey on Gun Owners Radio here.
As he continues the hard work before him in his new role, Pastor Brian also serves as an Advisory Board Member for RCGO furthering his dedication to the 2nd Amendment preservation and restoration efforts.
Our goal as an organization has always been to help elect the right people into local offices so that if they decide to run for higher offices, we already have pro-2A individuals in place who are making decisions that directly impact us and our rights. Local officials also help influence others who plan to run for higher offices such as congress or senate. Can you just imagine the work we’d accomplish if we filled our local seats with a solid base of 2A supporters?!
But we genuinely cannot do it without your help. We have a very tough few years ahead of us. The 2022 midterms are just around the corner and we’re going to need resources to help get more 2A friendly people elected. We’re excited to introduce our new Gun Shops & Table Tops program for Riverside County Gun Owners! We make volunteering fun and you’ll be making an impact getting the word out into the community about our organization.
Help us talk to your fellow Riverside county residents about the importance of them becoming members of RCGO and how we are the ONLY local 2A political action committee dedicated to fighting to preserve our precious 2A rights.
We continue to roll out additional volunteer dates/locations so make sure to check back frequently on our website to sign up and remember for every shift you volunteer it equals one entry into our quarterly drawing to win an amazing Front Sight Commander Membership!
